Judy Shepard at National Cathedral

The role people of faith can have in the lives of LGBT young people will be the topic of discussion for Judy Shepard, Jane Clementi, mother of Tyler Clementi, Joshua Deese and the Dean of the National Cathedral, the Very Reverend Gary Hall on Sunday, October 6.

Judy and Jane will also talk about the legacy of their sons and what their stories can teach us. Joshua Deese, a Sophomore at the University of Maryland and member of the Trevor Project’s Youth Advisory Committee, will talk about the important role faith communities can play in reducing the suicide rate of LGBT youth.

The event will be live streamed on the National Cathedral’s home page and we invite you to tune in Sunday morning at 10:10ET/7:10PT.
