Judy Shepard will be speaking at the Department of Justice Hate Crimes Conference in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on April 30 at the Washington Pavilion downtown. This is one in a series of conferences that the Justice Department does to help educate law enforcement professionals on the proper implementation of the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Law as well as to address other civil rights issues.
