Proposition 8 Still Unconstitutional

The Matthew Shepard Foundation is glad to see that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has affirmed that Proposition 8 is unconstitutional. You can read the entire decision here.

Marriage is a stepping stone to equality and acceptance of all. The more committed married same-sex couples are visible in communities across the nation, the greater acceptance LGBT people will have. While this decision will not lead to the recognition of marriage by the federal government, it is a step in the direction of fairness and equality for all.
