The wonderful bloggers over at Towleroad wrote this morning about the LGBT inclusive history bill for California schools. They have heard rummors that anti-LGBT folks are lobbying Governor Jerry Brown to veto the bill.
You will remember that earlier this month the California Legislature passed a landmark LGBT history education bill that would recognize the important contributions to history. A similar bill was vetoed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2006.
If you want to contact Gov. Brown you can do so by calling his office at 916-445-2841 and asking him to sign Senate Bill 48.
