Senate Judiciary Committee Considers Respect for Marriage Act

Yesterday the Senate Judiciary Committee held hearings into the Respect for Marriage Act, the bill that would repeal the so-called Defense of Marriage Act. The anti-gay witnesses, as usual, told lies about the LGBT community and Senator Al Franken called them out.

The primary reason public opinion has changed in favor of same sex marriage is that more and more people are out and vocal about who they are and what the family looks like.
