My name is Logan Shepard. Matthew Shepard was my older brother, and I haven't had a public persona in years past, but it has been Ten years and now I am ready to share what life has been like in recent years. I am writing this 'blog' to give a voice to allies, and to share with people how my life has been and changed since my brother's death.

Topics will range from politics to Hollywood. It will cover things that have happened in the past to things that happen to me on the way to work. It can be serious or comical. From time to time I will also be interested in answering questions from readers and suggestions on topics as well. I am here to help start dialogues between LGBT and allies. Maybe my life experiences will help siblings or parents of loved ones in the LGBT community. In no way do my opinions reflect those of the Matthew Shepard Foundation, and I am not a licensed professional, I am just an ally writing a blog trying to share my life experiences and maybe help a few people on the way.
