The YOUTH FIRST PODCAST is created and produced by youth about issues facing the LGBTQ community.
 
The Podcast will allow youth to engage with MatthewsPlace.com.  Each month, our Youth First Podcast team will report and discuss issues that impact LGBTQ youth. Listeners will be able suggest news stories, comment on individual broadcasts, and write in with questions and topics to discuss
 
The Youth First Podcast will include the following segments:

  • The News - News reports by youth from around the world.
  • Live - Dedicated to issues such as coming out, accepting differences, ways to stay healthy, struggles with religion, and being succesful in your community.
  • Learn - Learn about issues such as LGBT History Month, science and humanities, understanding our community, sexual health, and legislation impacting the LGBTQ community.
  • Engage - Learn about ways to gett involved, how make a difference, sharing your story, and how to engage in your community.
  • Share - Your opportunity to ask questions, talk about a poll question or read responses to what we’re doing.
