Cortney Paddock is the Matthew Shepard Foundation’s Development Officer, responsible for managing the development database, fundraising events, and volunteers. Cortney gained volunteer management, programming and fundraising experience at Denver nonprofits such as The Center for Trauma & Resilience and Project Angel Heart. While in higher education Cortney implemented social justice practices and advocated to make 4-year degrees more accessible.
Cortney graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in Human Development and Family Studies before earning an MS in Student Affairs in Higher Education. She is a proud Denver resident and grew up in the Denver area. Cortney is committed to making Denver a safe and sustainable place to live.
